Gear Keepers are high quality spring-loaded cable retractors for protecting your Troutmaps from loss, while keeping them at hand for quick reference.

The RT-5 Gear Keeper is used with Troutmaps of 6 or fewer laminations. IT has a 36-inch nylon line with a 50 pound breaking strength.

The RT-2 Gear Keeper is used with Troutmaps having more than six laminations. It has a 28-inch nylon-coated stainless steel cable with a 60 pound breaking strength.

Additionally, a Quick Connect device is available for adapting other Troutmaps to an existing Gear Keeper. Just attach the stainless steel split ring to the Troutmap's snap hook. The Quick Connect is easily plugged into the Gear Keeper.
